Inehmo´s 20th anniversary concert “Helise heliä metsä”
Inehmo is an ancient Finnish word, meaning ‘human being’. The Inehmo vocal ensemble focuses on traditional music of Finno-Ugric origin. The basic idea is to combine Finnish folk poetry with traditional melodies originating from different Finno-Ugric peoples, including not only Finns, but also Ingrian, Mordvinian, Udmurt, Karelian, Mari, and Seto. The repertoire consists mainly of the ensemble’s own arrangements. The vocal style is adopted from Finno-Ugric village choirs whose expression differs from bel canto. The concert will be held in Halla house.
Riitta Bergroth, Milla Metsola, Pipa Paljakka ja Virpi Sahi sing in the group. Tickets: 4 € from the ticket booth of the museum. From Halla house you can buy ticket only by paying with MobilePay. Entry also with the Museum Card or museum ticket.
