Estonia´s re-independence day picnic
Welcome to celebrate the 35th anniversary of the restoration of Estonian independence with a picnic, a sing-along, a dance and a quiz!
Musician Sofia Joons performs and leads the sing-along. Mixed choir Siller will also be participating in the sing-along. Folk dance performances will be provided by groups Helsingi Helmed, Lahepere and Ülelahedad.
Bring a picnic basket and come spend a wonderful summer evening with your family and friends by the Estonian and Finnish oak trees (near Jusupoff square)!
The picnic is organized by Union of Estonian Accociations in Finland (SVYL), Estonian Embassy, Estonian-speaking parish work in Helsinki and Seurasaari Foundation. Photographer of the event is Kait Lokk. The day will be hosted by Martin and Karoliina Kalda, who are brother and sister.
